The launch of the 4th annual 'Online Bingo Site of the Year' and 'New Online Bingo Site of the Year' awards were today announced by WhichBingo.com. In addition, in recognition of the explosion of the UK market, the inaugural ‘UK Online Bingo Site of the Year’ award was also launched, to run in tandem at WhichBingo.co.uk

These prestigious awards, the ‘Online Bingo Oscars’, aim to celebrate and reward excellence in Online Bingo, as voted by the most important part of the game, the players. The awards are designed to reflect the quality, excitement and entertainment value of Online Bingo sites' offerings.

The 'Site of the Year' award is open to all 'pay-to-play' sites, regardless of software provider, and the 'New Site of the Year' award is open to any new Online Bingo site that launched during 2006. The UK Online Bingo Site of the Year’ award is open to any site that offers bingo in GB sterling.

The players’ vote will decide all three awards, and the polls are open until 31st December 2006. Bingo sites across the internet have already started frantically campaigning to their players, and the competition will be intense. At the end of the month the sites with the most votes in each category will then be awarded the respective titles.
