Marten Transport specializes in refrigerated trucking and transportation, working with goods that need to be temperature-controlled, or that require special handling, such as food, beverages and fragile raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry. Marten has more than 2,100 drivers on the road at any time, primarily in the U.S., but also works increasingly in Mexico and Canada, with many more loads on the rail, all tracked by Dynamics CRM.
“One of the biggest differences we’ve seen is that having Scribe integrate our CRM systems means that the sales force out in the field has their data sync up consistently, throughout the day,” said Brian King, business process analyst for Marten Transport. “Before, our guys would only be able to sync up when they got to their motel rooms at night. Additionally, the continuous syncing of data between the Sales and Operations groups of Marten Transport has empowered the company to be more responsive to customer requests.
