On May 21st TPS TECH expanded into the North American and Australian markets entering a joint venture with G.E.O. Inc. TPS TECH’s offices serving the United States and Canada are located in Corona, California, Belfast, Maine, Denver, Colorado; its Australian office is located near Melbourne, Victoria. These strategic locations enable TPS TECH to provide patented In-Situ Thermal Desorption and Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption technologies to all of North America and Australia.

Thermal treatment technologies such as In-Situ Thermal Desorption (ISTD) have been expensive to operate in the past. Traditional ISTD methods have used electricity to generate heat, creating electricity demands and requiring power upgrades to existing utilities. Grant Geckeler, Executive Vice President of TPS TECH America, said “Until recently, thermal treatment technologies have been out of reach for many property owners. Many consultants would not think about exploring in-situ thermal treatment unless they were will to spend at least one million dollars” TPS TECH has developed a way to offer ISTD cost-effectively on both large and small scale projects alike. The GTR© (Gas*Thermal*Remediation) system is powered by natural gas or propane, and in some cases, the pollution itself can be used as a supplemental power source creating a more sustainable remediation option.

TPS TECH’s expansion into North America and Australia mark the second time in as many months that TPS TECH has expanded into a new market. In April TPS TECH expanded into Italy, and now operates an office near Venice. This continues plans to develop and expand the global network of TPS TECH, and there is already strong demand for GTR© at project sites in Asia and South America.

About TPS TECH

TPS TECH (tpsthermal.com) has been active in innovative thermal soil remediation since 1989. TPS TECH has treated over 8 million tons of soils and has executed over 200 onsite projects. TPS TECH’s highly recently developed the GTR© -line of thermal treatment technologies and is currently execution six projects with that technology, as of the time of this press release.
