William Lindsay, III, President of Lockton Benefits Group in Denver. Bill has an extensive background within the fields of healthcare and insurance. Prior to his role as President of Lockton Benefits Group, he founded Benefit Management and Design, Inc. and served as President for 20 years. In recognition of his contributions, in 2008, Bill received the National Governors Association Award for Distinguished Service to State Government, and the John K. Inglehart Award for Leadership in Healthcare by the Colorado Health Foundation. He is a Board Member and former Chair of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. He is also a Board Member for Craig Hospital and for The Children’s Hospital. He was a Chair for Colorado’s Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform in 2007. Bill has a B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College.
Mark Rangell, Chief Operating Officer of Applied Pathways in Chicago, a rapidly growing healthcare IT company offering a cloud-based visual development platform for clinical innovation, quality management and process improvement. In this role, he oversees several areas of the company, including corporate strategy and planning, marketing, business development, finance, and operations. Mark’s careers spans over twenty five years of leadership in the healthcare and information technology industries, with experience across all phases of business maturity from startup operations through established business units. Mark has held senior positions in marketing and product management with Thomson Healthcare, Novartis, IBM, Sandata Technologies, SpineMatrix, Cachet Solutions, and Quovadx. He received his B.S. degree in Computer Applications and Information Systems from New York University and his M.S. degree in Marketing and Corporate Strategy from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Gordon Romanas, Senior Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at BusinessOne Technologies in San Diego. For the last seven years, Gordon has been the Business Development Lead in promoting data management and analytical technology solutions to the C-Suite and operational stakeholders at PBMs, managed care organizations, employer groups, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and retail pharmacies. While at MedInitiatives, Gordon was part of the management team, responsible for business development, strategic partner and vendor relationships, and marketing/sales; supporting the $80M acquisition by IMS Health in 2007. After graduating from college, Gordon was commissioned as a Logistics Officer in the United States Marine Corps., serving in both Desert Storm and Somalia.
Howard Diamond, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Aventura in Denver. A serial entrepreneur, Howard Diamond has been growing technology companies for more than 25 years. As the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aventura, a Denver-based software company focused on clinician workflow solutions for hospitals, Diamond works to improve healthcare by putting the right information in clinicians’ hands when, where and how they need it to make critical-care decisions. Before joining Aventura in 2010, he grew revenue for Corporate Software, the largest software reseller for Microsoft and IBM, from $500 Million to $1.2 Billion in six years. He also served as Chairman of the Information Services Group at Level3, where he ran a $2.7 Billion technology group and orchestrated the largest merger in the software reseller business.
