New York Times best-selling author Daniel Pink will kick off the 7th Annual Halogen Software User Conference in Nashville this September. Hosted at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Centre from September 9-12, this year’s conference will focus on helping Halogen customers build a world-class workforce that is aligned, inspired and delivering exceptional results.
In his opening keynote, Pink will share why traditional approaches to high performance backfire on most organizations and attendees will learn the three key ingredients of intrinsically-motivated high performers. Pink provides more insight on what he’ll be sharing at the conference in his attendee welcome video.
Building on the momentum and growth of six consecutive years, the main agenda, workshops and training events continue to expand to offer customers more learning and networking opportunities than ever before.
“I’ve attended the Halogen User Conference for four years now, and each year I come away with new concepts and best practices I can apply to my talent programs,” said Gina Maddalena, HR Systems Specialist, MD Physician Services Inc. “From the practical sessions where you optimize your use of the software to the strategic thought leadership, the event offers tremendous value – and the networking opportunities with fellow attendees are great!”
During the conference attendees can choose from more than 40 sessions that provide practical strategies for building a world-class workforce:
• Exciting plenary sessions, including an HR Executive Panel, Managing a Multi-Generational Workforce, and Halogen’s product roadmap;
• Four educational breakout tracks covering Talent Strategy, Product Success, Tips and Tools, and What’s New;
• Pre- and post-conference interactive product training sessions for hands on expertise;
• A full day boot camp on “Mastering the Art of Performance Feedback”, with recognized talent management thought leader Jamie Resker.
“It’s great that Halogen is delivering such a diverse amount of content to their customers at the conference,” said Jamie Resker, President, Employee Performance Solutions. “My workshop focuses on how HR can support their leaders in delivering high impact feedback that is developmental and doesn’t feel like criticism. I’m looking forward to sharing the framework with attendees.”
