Dr. Williams Brings Extensive Healthcare Experience and the Perspective of a Leading Physician
OpenQ, a leading provider of solutions compliantly connecting Life Science companies to medical networks, has announced a new addition to its Compliance Advisory Board. Michael Williams, MD, the Byrd S. Leavell Professor of Medicine and Professor of Pathology and Chief, Hematologic Malignancies Section of the Hematology/Oncology Division at the University Of Virginia School Of Medicine has joined the group. Dr. Williams brings with him an extensive background as a physician, an educator, and a Key Opinion Leader (KOL).
Regulatory compliance has emerged as one of the most important issues facing the Life Science industry. To address this critical consideration and provide expert insight into the relationships between Life Science Companies and outside professionals, OpenQ formed their Compliance Advisory Board. Insight from the board has proven invaluable when delivering some of the industry’s most advanced solutions – including software, data, and professional services.
“Dr. Williams is a great addition to our Compliance Advisory Board. His perspective as a Key Opinion leader is a fantastic counterpoint to the existing industry perspectives on our Board,” stated Jim Zuffoletti, President, OpenQ. “We are all very excited to be working with him. Dr. Williams’ input will help us continue to develop extremely innovative and intuitive solutions for our customers.”
“Collaboration between Industry and Medicine is a critical part of bringing innovative new treatments to our patients,” shared Dr. Williams. “Working with OpenQ is a great opportunity to help develop solutions promoting this collaboration while ensuring the highest standards of regulatory compliance.”
