Telecommunications provider, reseller, ISP and CLEC NBS announced recently the hiring of Jamie Arko as National Account Manager. With over 15 years sales and management experience in the technology and telecom industries, Mr. Arko is an accomplished and creative account manager whose forte is partner and dealer support and business solutions. He will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the sales efforts of all NBS dealers and is quickly becoming acquainted with many of the company’s channel partners. Mr. Arko’s arrival marks another major personnel addition by NBS President Russell P. Markman. "Jamie is someone I have worked with in the past and his dedication to the channel is unquestionable,” stated Mr. Markman. “We expect that his presence will certainly translate into additional sales successes for our dealer network and for NBS as a whole," he later added.
Mr. Arko comes to NBS having spent the last 2 years with Advance 2000, an Information Technology firm, where he worked primarily in sales as a Business Solutions Specialist. Jamie has been the owner of several companies reselling telecom services to businesses, so he knows what it takes to close the sale, especially the more complicated and technically challenging ones. Additionally, since he began in telecom successfully selling key and PBX systems for over 9 years in Manhattan, he can be particularly helpful to NBS’ integrator and VAR partners.
Jamie is available to assist and support all of NBS’ new and existing dealers from start to finish. With his proven track record of success, with alternate channel distribution, he will be a valuable resource for NBS’s agents in conjunction with its already robust Sales Support Group. "I'm looking forward to assisting and supporting our agent partners, and my hope is to help educate all of them on how to best increase revenues in a tough economy," he stated.
