Media5 Corporation, a leading provider of IP-based multimedia communications solutions, today announced that its Mediatrix™ 3000 Series of VoIP gateways have been validated for interoperability with Microsoft Lync Server 2010.
The Mediatrix 3000 Series is a line of robust media gateways that seamlessly connects FXO, BRI and PRI lines to VoIP networks. Certified interoperability allows enterprises to migrate from legacy PBXs to the Microsoft Lync unified communications platform while preserving trunk lines to the telephone central office (CO).

“Media5's innovative solutions like the Mediatrix 3000 Series, complement the Microsoft Lync Server 2010 environments and help to deliver on the promise of truly unified communications," said BJ Haberkorn, Group Product Manager for Microsoft Lync.
Paul Scanlan, General Manager of IPL Communications said “We are delighted that the Media5 gateways have been certified interoperable with Microsoft Lync Server 2010. As a value-added distributor focused on solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, this helps ensure that customers will have a seamless experience facilitating setup, support, and use of the latest technology with more traditional legacy systems operating on the TDM network.”
