Scheduled to start March 9, 2012, the GU 100,000 Mile Challenge will encourage runners to cover as many miles as they can in 31 days. Runners that meet milestones of 100, 150 and 200 miles will be awarded with prize packages from GU, including Peanut Butter GU Energy Gels, Roctane Ultra Endurance Energy Gels and Drinks and more. Entry into the challenge is free to anyone at Strava.com.
Running a personal total of 100, 150 and 200 miles in just one month requires dedication, determination and desire; to help athletes stay motivated, GU Energy Labs is raising the stakes with a group challenge: Should all Challenge participants accumulate 100,000 miles collectively over the 31-day challenge, every participant will receive a special GU VIP card for discounts and special offers on GUenergy.com. In addition, GU will randomly select five athletes who post inspiring photos and stories about their training on the GU Facebook page to receive a special GU Gift Pack.
