Detroit, MI, United States, 2012/02/29 - Turner Construction Company was selected as part of a design-build team to build Carpenter Technology Corporation’s new specialty alloys manufacturing facility in Limestone County, Alabama - TurnerConstruction.com.
The facility will integrate remelting, forging, and associated finishing and testing capabilities.
Carpenter Technology Corporation, with headquarters in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, selected Turner and its design-build partner, Barge Waggoner Sumner & Cannon to build the plant.

The high-tech alloys production facility will be designed and constructed in approximately 30 months beginning in April 2012. The first phase of the facility include construction of several buildings totaling 400,000 square feet on a 230-acre site.
