Lazard Ltd announced today that Glenn Porritt has joined the firm as a Managing Director and Head of Singapore Investment Banking. Mr Porritt joins Lazard from ANZ where he was Head of Asian M&A.
“We are anticipating continued growth of M&A in Singapore and across South East Asia,” said Antonio Weiss, Global Head of Investment Banking at Lazard. “We expect that Glenn’s depth of experience will be beneficial to the firm and our clients in the region.”
Mr. Porritt joined ANZ’s London office in 1997, moving to Singapore in 1999 to establish ANZ’s M&A business in Asia. Prior to this he spent four years in the Corporate Finance Division of KPMG Hong Kong.
Lazard has been active in Asia since the 1970’s and opened an office in Singapore in 1994.
