Based on its recent analysis of the medication management systems market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes HealthOneMed with the 2012 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for New Product Innovation. DAP's ability to define personalized reminder messages, not only for medications but also for any health-related action (e.g. blood pressure monitoring), is another value-added capability that can make this solution the focal point of a patient's home care management. Further, if the patient does not acknowledge the reminders, the system notifies the patient's family or caregivers.
DAP targets areas of need and customer growth through its ability to be packaged as a medication management service by various healthcare providers, such as Personal Emergency Response Service (PERS) providers, home care agencies, smaller pharmacies, senior and assisted living centers, and other providers centered on a patient's living environment.
