Additional regions soon to be launched on Sights of the City include Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Hamburg, London, as well as the islands of Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii.
Sights of the City was developed by a group of young travel professionals that have circled the world several times, and have found it difficult to find unbiased travel information once onsite at many destinations. So how does one spend that little spare time during (business) trips, particularly when one didn’t find the time to perform extensive research ahead of time?
Hence, the idea of Sights of City was born – a free and to-the-point web-based travel site that offers simple trip advice so tourists can explore cities even on the go by printing suggested itineraries in advance, or reviewing them on their smart phones in real time. Thereby, Sights of the City provides readers with suggestions for 1-day itineraries, tours & attractions representative of the destination, weather and transit information, and short city profiles, along with general advice on where to stay.
While booking links to online travel agencies are provided on Sights of the City, only those tours are recommended that the team of Sights of the City truly felt were representative of the area and made sense to be incorporated either into suggested itineraries, or would make positive extensions thereof.
