Serco, Inc., a provider of professional, technology, and management services to the federal government, today announced management changes to realign senior executives in support of ongoing growth initiatives and strengthen its focus on key markets within the Federal government.
Among the senior executive moves, Bo Durickovic, formerly Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff, has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of Serco Inc. In his new role, Mr. Durickovic will lead Serco’s business operations in the United States and Canada and will continue to report to Ed Casey, Serco Inc.’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Serco in 2006, Mr. Durickovic served in a number of senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and corporate strategy in the energy and technology industries and he began his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company.
“As a result of the growth of the Company and our ambitions to expand Serco into new markets, it is an appropriate time to appoint a Chief Operating Officer,” said Ed Casey. “Given Bo’s increasing responsibilities and contributions over the years, he was the natural person to fill this leadership position. In other high-level management changes, Harry Gatanas, Senior Vice President of the Defense and Intel Group, has been promoted to Executive Vice President. He will continue to oversee the Defense and Intel Group.
Additionally, Mike Plymack, Senior Vice President of Strategic Programs has been appointed Senior Vice President of Serco’s Federal Civilian Services Group, overseeing the business units for Strategy, Learning and Human Capital, Business Process Services, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Canada. Mike Plymack and Harry Gatanas will report to Bo Durickovic.
