Duranar ULTRA-COOL® and SUPERL® II ULTRA-Cool coatings are formulated with proprietary infrared-reflective pigments that deflect solar energy away from buildings, which enables buildings to stay cooler and consume less energy. Compared to traditionally manufactured powder coatings, Duranar powder coatings require 40 percent less time to produce and achieve close to 100 percent first-run, batch-to-batch color consistency. They also are less expensive to transport, use less water and generate 15 percent less manufacturing waste than liquid coatings.
