The hermetically sealed, Fiber in Metal Tube, HE Series is the perfect solution to house and shield IRphotonics’ Mid Infrared Fibers (iGuide™) against severe physical (e.g., pull, bend, and crush) and extreme environmental (e.g., shock, vibration, extreme temperatures, pressure, and liquid immersion) conditions. Cable assemblies are available in a variety of lengths featuring a highly flexible squarelock conduit and an optional PVDF lining for enhanced protection from liquids.
The HE Series is particularly suited for Defense & Aerospace applications such as Infrared Counter Measure Systems (IRCM) that use Indium Fluoride fibers or remote spectroscopy applications for harsh industrial environments. It is offered with a range of optical fiber connectors.
