Miami Springs, FL, United States, 2011/12/06 - A brand new Comfort Suites hotel has opened near Miami International Airport. The new facility has upgraded features and amenities perfect for the leisure or business traveler - ComfortSuitesMiamiAirport.com.
A brand new Comfort Suites hotel with 102 junior and executive suites has opened near Miami International Airport. Developed by Pfeffer & Marin Holdings, the new facility has upgraded features throughout, including free Wi-Fi, a fitness center and pool, boardroom for 40 people, full-service business center, cocktail lounge, an MIA Electronic Flight Display Board and large flat-screen TVs in every suite. Suite prices start at $89 per night.
“We’re making the hotel convenient for leisure travelers, but also highly accommodating for our corporate clientele,” said Pfeffer & Marin vice president Steven Marin. “We designed comfortable work and social spaces in the lobby area, including connectivity portals and a full bar, as well as created large work and living areas in all of our rooms.”
The guest suites feature a number of upgrades usually found in more upscale hotels, including 42-inch flat-screen TVs vs. the 32-inch brand standard. Simmons pillow-top mattresses, superior multi-setting massaging showerheads, high thread-count linens and sound proof windows complete the modern look and feel. There’s also an eco-friendly lighting system in all of the suites whereby the lights automatically turn on when a guest enters and off when they leave.
“We’re providing distinctive quality, style and service with competitive rates in our marketplace,” said Marin.
The hotel at 657 Minola Drive in Miami Springs also provides a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning, as well as free airport transportation and shuttle service to the Port of Miami for all of its guests, said Tracy Randall, corporate director of sales and marketing.
“Few hotels like ours offer all of these upgrades and include complimentary transportation, as well as all-inclusive packages such as Park n’ Fly, Bon Voyage and more,” she said.
While Pfeffer & Marin Holdings has owned and operated many hotels in South Florida over the past 33 years, the Comfort Suites is the first hotel the group has developed from the ground up.
“With the expansion of Miami International Airport and business and leisure travelers looking for comfortable, budget-friendly options, we felt the time was right to come out of the gate with something new,” said Marin. “We have operated hotels in this area for more than 30 years and have a very good feel for the demand.”
