Phoenix, AZ, United States, 2006/11/06 - All five golf schools affiliated with San Diego Golf Academy now have integrated wireless Internet access for student use. Students can access the wireless network from classrooms, student lounges, and campus libraries.
San Diego Golf Academy announced recently that all of their campuses are now equipped with integrated wireless Internet networks. Students of SDGA golf schools can access the Internet from a variety of locations on campus, including classrooms, student lounges, and campus libraries.
“SDGA WiFi Internet access is available for all authorized users,” said Paul Zagnoni, President of San Diego Golf Academy. “Students not in the classroom will be able to access the Internet for research or recreation in their free time.”
The wireless system is a secured network, which means that access is limited to authorized users with a current password.
Although wireless technology has only recently become widely available, the availability of wireless Internet access has quickly become an indicator of the quality of education a school provides. Wireless Internet access allows students to perform research, check email, access school websites, or even place holds on library books from almost anywhere on campus. All that is required is a wireless-ready laptop or PDA and a wireless signal, which is emitted from wireless modems in student lounges, classrooms, and libraries.
The wireless Internet access supplements the high quality education students have long had access to at San Diego Golf Academy. Every SDGA golf school boasts state-of-the-art equipment, as well as many amenities for students, such as libraries, student lounges, modern classrooms, and playing greens for hands-on training.
For more than 30 years, San Diego Golf Academy has been providing students with the education and resources necessary for successful golf careers. Each SDGA golf school has a long-standing reputation for helping students find the golf jobs of their dreams. An important resource offered to SDGA students is GolFutures, the SDGA-owned golf employment company that successfully places more than 85% of the school's graduates in golf jobs. As demonstrated by their continuous efforts to maintain modern campuses with the best amenities available, San Diego Golf Academy is dedicated to providing its students with everything they need to succeed.
