Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, 2011/11/15 - The SaskTel Pioneers volunteer organization received 17 awards for volunteering excellence at the international Pioneers Annual Meeting and Centennial Celebration in Boston, Massachusetts held November 2-5 - SaskTelPioneers.com.
The SaskTel Pioneers form a chapter of the Pioneers, the largest industry-related volunteer organization in the world. The Pioneers are celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2011.
“Since 1947, the award-winning SaskTel Pioneers have been making life better for the people of Saskatchewan,” said Bill Boyd, Minister Responsible for SaskTel. “Corporations and volunteer groups across the province can look to the SaskTel Pioneers as an example of how to make meaningful contributions to the community through volunteerism.”

• Canadian Life Enrichment Project Excellence Award – Adopt a Family;
• 9 Canadian Heart of Pioneering Awards.
