In honor of Veterans Day, Moran Industries, Inc. franchisor of automotive repair centers Mr.Transmission, Milex Complete Auto Care and Alta Mere Toys for Your Car announces it was ranked in the top 10 percent of all franchises nationwide and named a 2011 Military Friendly Franchise by G.I. Jobs Magazine.

Mr. Transmission (mrtransmission.com), Milex Complete Auto Care and Alta Mere Toys for Your Car, honors military veterans all year round by offering service members a $5,000 discount off the franchise fee, allowing veterans to use their training and operational skills in a new civilian career.

The list, first created in 2009, satisfies veterans’ need to know which franchise they should pursue, which ones give them the best financial incentives and training, and which franchises have the highest number of veteran franchisees. The 2011 list was compiled through exhaustive research by G.I. Jobs in which thousands of franchises nationwide were polled.

“It is a great honor to be recognized as a Military Friendly Franchise and we are proud to have been on the list each year since its’ inception,” said Barb Moran, President and CEO of Moran Industries, Inc. “Military veterans are excellent business owners. The dedication and drive that service men and women have shown our country translates well into the skill set needed to be a successful business owner.”

Since 2002, Moran Industries has offered a discount to military veterans through the International Franchise Association’s VetFran program. “We are committed to helping veterans succeed in business and I am thrilled that we can assist with discounts through the VetFran program. I believe this is a great way to show respect for the men and women who have served our country.”

Midlothian, Illinois based Moran Industries, Inc. is one of the largest franchisors of automotive aftermarket repair centers in the country. Moran Industries provides specialty products and services in virtually every aspect of the automotive aftermarket through five franchise brands and more than 140 locations including: Mr. Transmission, Multistate Transmission, Dr. Nicks Transmissions, Milex Complete Auto Care (milexcompleteautocare.com) and Alta Mere Toys (altamere.com) for Your Car.
