Capital Sign Solutions has recently completed exterior signage for four businesses located in Brennan Station. The Raleigh-based sign company, owned by Patrick Mills, worked closely with the owners of Adore Boutique, Clothes Hound, Inside Out Sports, and MB Goldsmith, as well as Brennan Station’s property management firm, Hawthorne Retail Partners, to develop, manufacture, and install the exterior wall signage.
Brennan Station is a 137,064 square-foot shopping center located off Creedmoor Road in North Raleigh. The center was substantially renovated in 2008 and is anchored by Office Depot, 02 Fitness, and is home to North Raleigh signature’s restaurant, Margaux’s. Mark Hendel is the Director of Operations for Hawthorne Retail Partners and currently oversees the operation of the company’s portfolio. Hendel has been working with Mills indirectly for a few years and directly with Capital Sign Solutions for a year. When a company fell through on their commitments to Brennan Station, Hendel called Mills to complete the project.
“There was no down time in production and installation on the [Brennan Station] project,” says Hendel. “Patrick and Capital Sign Solutions were able to meet the signage schedule of the former company and made the tenants’ opening a success.”
When developing and installing the Brennan Station signage, Capital Sign Solutions had to meet owner expectations, as well as adhere to corporate signage standards set by Hawthorne Retail Partners. Mills says that in his line of work, this is often the case.
“Whenever you’re dealing with an existing shopping center, there are going to be corporate standards that will guide the installation and the design process to a degree,” explains Mills. “Because I’ve worked with Mark on so many occasions, our working relationship and our communication process are very seamless and efficient. I understand his expectations and work very diligently to ensure that both he and the business owner are 100% satisfied with the finished product.”
Hendel says that he would recommend Capital Sign Solutions to a business colleague and adds that Mills and his company always go above and beyond to make their clients happy.
