RiechesBaird, named one of the nation’s top BtoB corporate branding agencies in the United States by BtoB Magazine earlier this year for the 10th consecutive year, is set to premier the next installment of its “Branding Business” radio show. The new show, found at brandingbusiness.com, examines the power of differentiation in evaluating business investments and features Murray Rudin, Partner, Riordan, Lewis & Haden, a large private equity firm based in Los Angeles.
“Today’s ultra-competitive marketplace requires businesses to develop and maintain a strong brand that can differentiate itself from the competition in the minds of consumers,” said show host Ryan Rieches, co-founder and CEO of RiechesBaird. “Murray provides invaluable insight into how their firm takes a strong look at how their portfolio companies differentiate themselves – and the obstacles that many large companies face when it comes to focusing on their brand.”
Rudin joined Riordan, Lewis & Haden (RLH) in 1998 and serves at Managing Director. Prior to joining RLH, he was Chief Financial Officer and Director of Business Development for Voxel, a medical imaging company. Previously, from 1990 to 1993, he was a principal of Valley National Investors, Inc., a private equity fund based in Phoenix. From 1986 to 1990, Rudin practiced law at Riordan & McKinzie, specializing in advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies with respect to corporate securities transactions such as private placements, leveraged recapitalizations and public offerings. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Rochester and a J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School.
Riordan, Lewis & Haden is a leading private equity firm based in Los Angeles, which invests in high growth, middle market enterprises. Focused on business services, healthcare, and government services, RLH has a demonstrated track record of consistent success over the last 25+ years. With offices in Los Angeles and Orange County, RLH provides capital and assists portfolio company management teams as they navigate the opportunities and challenges of growth.
