Being a reality TV star can be quite the lucrative profession-- just ask Katie Doyle. Katie’s original role in MTV’s 2001 season of Road Rules has lead to a number of reality TV offers and MTV-related gigs. She has starred in MTV Road Rules/Real World Challenges more times than you can count on one hand. However, after years of MTV reality shows and challenges, Katie feels it is time to take the next step in her career. As of mid-October, she packed her bags and moved out to Chicago, Illinois.

In addition to the bold move east, Doyle has also signed a deal with a Los Angeles public relations company, M. Loring Communications. Doyle’s publicist, Mona Loring, has plans to expose Doyle’s raw image whilst blending a comedic and humane image.

Although Doyle is not interested in acting in film or TV, she is interested in a number of areas of the entertainment industry. Her career aspirations are centered on comedy within means such as sketch comedy, improv, radio and television hosting and comedic writing. According to Doyle, “I like the entertainment industry because its forever changing and I like variety. That is also why I enjoy reality TV.”

In addition to the recent auditions and offers extended to Doyle, she has currently begun writing a comedic novel about dating in Hollywood. The book has a completion date set for the end of the year. More information on the book will be released at a later time.
